The process starts with you contacting me regarding a project you would like to have done. Each project is priced by several factors, including:
- Size
- Complexity
- Type of material to be etched
Obviously, the larger or more complex, the more it will cost, BUT, please keep in mind that very small items that are very detailed (such as lettering on a wine glass) can also be expensive. I think you will find my pricing very competitive.

I generally need to see the artwork that you would want etched before I could give a solid price, but with a good description of it, I can give you a "ballpark" estimate.
ALL projects are subject to a $25.00 non-refundable set up fee. This fee covers:
- resizing an image to fit the object being etched
- converting a color image to black & white suitable for etching (even if the final project will be colorized)
- otherwise changing the image to make it suitable for etching.
Once the project and price are agreed upon I generally require a downpayment to get started on the project, usually around 25% of the agreed on final value. For smaller items, the $25.00 set up fee is fine. For larger items, the downpayment can be negotiated to make it affordable for you. Please see the Payment Plans page for more details
Once downpayment is recieved, I will begin work on your project. All changes made to the image chosen for the work will be shown to you for your approval/disapproval/other changes. Once the image is finalized and the actual etching begins, you will be kept updated on progress with pictures - especially on larger projects.
For small projects, once they are finished, you will be notified, with a photo of the item. At this time, final payment will be due before the item will be shipped. Once payment is recieved, your item will be carefully packaged and sent to you.
For projects on a payment plan, payments need to be recieved as agreed upon. When your project is complete, you will be notified, with photos of the project. As long as payments have been recieved in a timely manner as agreed, your item will be carefully wrapped, packed and shipped to you.
